Bubble vs Webflow

Özetle

Özetle

Seçin

Şu durumda Bubble…

  • Users will log in. The moment accounts, permissions and per-user data enter the brief, you are building an application and Webflow is the wrong shape for it.
  • The logic runs on saved data, such as matching, booking, ordering or approving, rather than on the shape of a page.
  • You are shipping an MVP you expect to change weekly, and you would rather own the workflow logic yourself than brief a developer for every rule.
  • You need a plugin ecosystem and an API connector to reach services no visual builder covers natively.
  • You accept that performance is something you will tune deliberately as the app grows, rather than something the platform hands you for free.

Seçin

Şu durumda Webflow…

  • The output is a website: marketing pages, a portfolio, a CMS-driven blog. Content and design are the product, not behaviour.
  • Design fidelity is not negotiable, and someone on the team thinks in layout rather than in workflows.
  • You want the CMS and the hosting to arrive together, so nothing has to be assembled before the site can go live.
  • The site will be edited by people who did not build it, and a structured CMS collection is safer than a page anyone can restructure.
  • You are prepared for the bill to be plan plus CMS plus hosting rather than a single number, which is the most common surprise here.

FAQ

SSS

Can Webflow do memberships and logged-in areas?
It can, up to a point, and the honest framing is that it does so by leaning on another service: Memberstack appears among its integrations for exactly this reason. That works well for gated content and simple member areas. It works badly the moment the logged-in experience needs its own data model, meaning records that belong to a user, records that reference other records, and rules about who may change what. That is the boundary where Bubble stops being the harder option and starts being the cheaper one.
Can Bubble build an ordinary marketing site?
Yes, and Bubble itself advises against it. You would be paying an application platform's learning curve to produce something a site builder does better and faster, and you would give up the CMS conveniences that make a blog maintainable by a marketer. The one case where it is defensible is when the marketing site is a thin front door on an app you are already building in Bubble, and keeping a single platform is worth more to you than the design ceiling.
Which one is cheaper?
Webflow starts lower and Bubble's entry plan sits well above it in our data, but neither headline is what you end up paying. Webflow bills grow as you add the CMS tier and hosting for each site, which Webflow's own limitations acknowledge. Bubble bills grow with workload rather than with pages, so a quiet app stays cheap and a busy one does not. Price the thing you are actually building over a year rather than comparing entry tiers, because these two grow along completely different axes.
Can I start in Webflow and move to Bubble later?
Not as a migration, because there is no export path that carries a Webflow site into Bubble, but as a sequence it is common and sensible. Ship the marketing site in Webflow, confirm that anyone wants the thing, then build the application in Bubble on a subdomain. Plenty of products run exactly that split permanently, and it is usually a better answer than forcing one tool to cover both jobs badly.
Which one needs less help from a developer?
Webflow, comfortably, for the work it is meant for. A designer can build and maintain a Webflow site without opening a code editor. Bubble is classified as low-code here for a reason: you will not write JavaScript, but you will think like a developer about data structures, states and workflows. If nobody on the team wants to do that, Bubble's ceiling is irrelevant, because you will never get near it.
Is there a cheaper middle ground between the two?
Sometimes, and it is worth checking before you commit to either learning curve. If the application is really a portal over data you already keep, Softr builds exactly that on top of an Airtable base with far less construction than Bubble. If it is really a small internal tool that people will use on a phone, Glide does that from a spreadsheet. Both are narrower than Bubble by design, and both stop where custom logic begins, but neither asks for the week Bubble asks for.
