StackZen is an independent directory of AI and SaaS tools. We research the tools, write plain-language summaries, and tell you — honestly — when a tool is the wrong choice.
Why we exist
Most "best tool" lists are ranked by whoever pays the most. We built StackZen to do the opposite: documented capability, real pricing, and a clear "when not to use it" on every tool — so you can pick the right one for your exact use case, not the one with the biggest marketing budget.
How we research
Every tool is researched from its own documentation and public sources before it earns a summary. We check the published monthly price, the stated limits of the free plan, and where the tool falls short. Our full process is on the methodology page.
How we make money
